We all know we want to celebrate Christmas differently than the majority of our culture. There is a major disconnect between the way Jesus came to us that first Christmas and the way we celebrate his coming today. What if we Christians took His way of doing things a little more seriously? Here is a group that is taking that idea and putting it into practical action. It is very challenging and thought provoking. There is an excellent video on the site which you all should watch. I encourage you - Join the conspiracy.

The Advent Discipline of Confession
In an attempt to keep offering resources for Advent observance I wanted to draw the reader's attention once again to a post I wrote last year as part of a blog carnival of Anglican Advent traditions. It talks about Advent generally but also specifically about the ways confession fits into this season of preparation. Happy reading. Hope it helps you on your journey to Christmas.
